Sweet Acacia
essential oil

Acacia, Kassieboom Cassie

  Description:
Botanically speaking, this is one of the more complicated areas. There are many species of the genus Acacia, and just as many Mimosa. The only reason I focus on it here is that I bought the absolue and therefore can comment on it! I got it from a German company; they called it "Mimose" - other names are Cassie and Acacia. Mimose absolue is often made from the species Acacia dealbata, but Acacia farnesiana is said to have an even better aroma. Most of the production of mimose absolue takes place in the south of France, around Cannes.
This sweet, warm and sensual smell must belong to Venus! It is erotic in a safe and loving way. Spoil your beloved or yourself with this absolue! If you feel abandoned and lonely, Sweet Acacia will comfort you, and you will realize the essential oneness of all things in the universe.

The absolue mixes well with:
Bergamot, cedarwood, lavendel, sandalwood, y-lang, violet, frankincense, styrax, Peru balsam, all spicy and flowery smells.
